Well, for what it is worth I agree with everyone except An Interested Reader, but let us hope he/she continues to be An Interested Reader and an interesting and informed commentator on IB. Oh and Les, how are the plans for the move going? Fingers crossed here for youse.

Bit puzzled as to why BBC would feel inclined to subsidise/support IB but looking at gift horse etc in mouth not good idea so for now, many thanks BBC/Carol and to Les for maintaining course……RJG

And it’s thanks to Les and all his hard work (and possibly Son Of Les, him being a young thing) that you islandbloggers have all your nice little widgets to play with. I fear interestedreader doesn’t know what he/she is talking about.
If you all had standalone blogs on WP it would be like each individual being cast away on a Cruel Sea… This way, there’s still a sense of community.

An Interested Reader: the attraction of the BBC IB site was the real sense of community it engendered.
